7 Day India Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Wednesday: Arrive Delhi
On arrival you will be received by our representative and transferred to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.
Day 2 Thursday: Delhi
Morning sightseeing of Delhi where you visit the mighty Qutub Minar, the unique lotus shaped Bahai Temple, Humayuns Tomb, India Gate and Sikh Temple at Bangla Sahib.Evening, Raj Ghat: the mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi followed by visit to Mughal monuments of Red Fort and Jama Masjid. Afternoon at Leisure. Evening optional tour to Sound and Light show at Red Fort. Overnight at Hotel In Delhi.
Day 3 Friday: DELHI-JAIPUR (260 KMS - 5.5 Hrs)
Breakfast at Hotel. Later drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Jaipur
Day 4 Saturday: Jaipur
Full day enjoy the excursion to Amber Fort, and Enjoy the joy ride on Elephant Ride. Later enjoy the city sightseeing covering City Palace – occupies a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens & buildings and a perfect blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture. Day 5 Sunday: JAIPUR-AGRA (230 KMS / 5.5 Hrs)
Morning drive to Agra en-route visiting Bharatpur (Keoladeo Ghana National Park), Fatehpur-Sikri, a city built in red sandstone by Emperor Akbar to commemorate the birth of his son. A royal city perfectly preserved, Fatehpur Sikri provides a marvellous escape into the past. Akbar embarked on the construction of a new capital here when a prophecy of the birth of a male royal heir, by the sufi Saint salim Chisti of Sikri, came true. Imposing gateways and light- hearted palaces were built in red sandstone within this fortified city only to be abandoned a few years later. Among its many architectural game are the places for his queens - Jodha Bai, Mariyam and his Turkish sultana, built in varying styles, each perfect in itself. Overnight: Hotel in Agra.
Day 6 Monday: AGRA
Morning tour of the world famous monument ‘Taj Mahal’, followed by a trip to Agra Fort, which has been the seat of Mughal rulers for several years. The fort has palaces with pavilions, gardens, mosques, baths etc. For people the world over - the Taj Mahal, mausoleum of the mughal Empress Mumtaz Mahal, is synonymous with India. Its curving, gently swelling dome and the square base upon which it rests so lightly is a familiar image from hundreds of brochures and travel books. The Taj is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular buildings of the world. Renowned for its architectural magnificence and aesthetic beauty, it counts among man's proudest creations and is invariably included in the list of the world's foremost wonders. As a tomb, it has no match upon earth, for mortal remains have never been housed in greater grandeur ! Visit Agra Fort, and local market.
Evening free to relax and do own activity. Overnight at hotel in Agra.
Day 7 Tuesday: Agra-Delhi (210 kms, 5 hrs)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to Delhi, enroute-visiting Sikandra - the red sandstone mausoleum of emperor Akbar. On arrival a farewell dinner has been organized for you before you are transferred to International airport for to connect onward flight.
